Thanks to ribbi246 on YouTube for pointing this out. “Hot Summer” was originated by a German group called Monrose. It was first released in 2007 as one of the tracks of the album Strictly Physical and eventually became one of the best selling songs in online music stores.
Although the music was obviously meant for the Asian market, it was a big disappointment to find out that the song was previously released by another artist.
